Demography, Cultural change, and the Diffusion of Rice and Millet during the Jomon-Yayoi transition in prehistoric Japan
ENCOUNTER is an ERC-funded research project that investigates the patterns and processes that transformed the society of incumbent complex hunter-gatherers of prehistoric Japan about 3000 years ago as a result of migratory events from mainland Asia which brought a package of new cultural elements.
This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 801953)
